"I stayed a Bascom Lodge in a bunk the night before a hike up Greylock. I really enjoyed my experience. The lodge was well run with tasty food, engaging events, and beautiful nature/history. Monique was particularly inviting and accommodating. The one suggestion I would have is to add a fan to the bunk room to help with white noise for sleeping!"

"We recently hosted our post wedding breakfast send off at Bascom Lodge with coffee + pastries and couldn’t recommend the location, staff, or product more highly! The view from the enclosed porch - or even their standard dining room - is spectacular. The team is an absolute joy to work with. The homemade pastries were the talk of of the party and the set-up was more than we needed or expected for the fact that we were on the top..."

"A beautiful little place to stay. I stayed here in June 2024 as part of a return trip to the Northeast state high points. I booked a private room, which had a bed that was nice and cozy. Had a delicious breakfast as well. My only complaint is that the showers were shared, but when the building is this old, there is only so much that can be done to correct it. All in all, a nice little stay. Friendly..."

"Amazing lodge, there can’t be too many left like it. We stayed for a weekend in mid September. The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. The building is historic, very cool looking, and well taken care of inside and out. Feels like a home. It has a lodge feel, as the bathrooms are shared, but the rooms are nice and everything is clean. Food is excellent, I’d recommend a dinner reservation. It’s very worth the long drive up Greylock, views..."

"I have never used a room, so I can't judge that. During the summer, they do offer nice sit-down dinners by reservations. Located on the top of the mountain with great views. They close for the late fall to late spring since the access roads are closed. This particular trip, I couldn't go inside since they were closed, I was just snowmobiling by it."

"Me and my family stayed there on a rainy day. It wasn't refundable so instead of hiking he drove up. It was still a very pleasant experience. The rooms were rustic (which I don't usually like) but it matched the mountain vibe and went perfectly with the lobby. The hotel was well lit and decorated. The breakfast was mediocre, and the dinner was rather expensive and the service wasn't great. We waited over an hour for our dinner and since..."

"Built in 1932 authentic wood. Amazing lodge, just stopped while visiting the tower. There's great views outside. Bring a jacket, it gets chilly and windy."

"Have now had the pleasure of visiting the lodge four times. This past September, I was lucky enough to be able to spend the night. Awesome atmosphere inside the lodge. They lit a fire to enjoy while we were waiting for dinner. Great meal and delicious breakfast."
